Locals generous

I have worked for several nonprofit organizations in this community and know how generous our businesses are.

This month, the Outlets at Vicksburg had their annual Shopping Extravaganza. We sold a record number of tickets, which included a new twist, giving us a true Taste of Vicksburg.

Local eateries provided the most amazing food.

Our participating agencies — DECA and Make a Promise — will continue to give needed services to youths.

Once again, Vicksburg, you really came through for a good cause.
