Miss Coker, Mr. Sills to recite vows Dec. 3

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Camp Coker of Kennesaw, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Jane, to Matthew Duane Sills of Brandon. Mr. Sills is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey D. Sills of Brandon.
Miss Coker is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Powers Davis of Demopolis, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Coker of Tupelo.
Mr. Sills is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rainey of Jackson, James Raymond Sills Sr. of Ridgeland and the late Nan B. Sills.
The bride-elect is an honor graduate of Warren Central High School. She was a member of the girls’ soccer team, varsity cheerleading squad and National Honor Society. She was also a member of Sub-Debs, Vicksburg Cotillion Club and Rebelettes.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Mississippi State University, where she graduated cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Miss Coker is employed with Medicomp Physical Therapy in Hazlehurst.
The prospective groom is an honor graduate of Brandon High School. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in management of construction and land development from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Sills is employed with BancorpSouth in Brandon.
Vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Dec. 3, 2011, at Hawkins United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club.
