James I. Robertson Sr.

James I. Robertson Sr. died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at his home. He was 82.
Born in Ossining, N.Y., Mr. Robertson retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years as an air traffic controller. Upon retirement, he moved to Vicksburg in 1969. He was a member of TREA, AFSA, Loyal Order of Moose 1581, VFW and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Robertson of Vicksburg; one son, James I. Robertson Jr. of Ventura, Calif.; a grandson, Tom Robertson of Ventura; and extended family: Brian, Chyna, Bailey and Kenny Marble of Jackson; Barry, Amy and Will Marble of Monroe, La.; Kim Crawford and family of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; David Snow and family of Meridian; and Dan and Bobbye Marble and Peggy Snow, all of Vicksburg.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Barry Marble, Brian Marble, Dan Marble, David Snow, Bill Bailey and Bobby Johnson.
