PORT GIBSON — Grant Fields Sr. died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at Claiborne County Senior Care. He was 72.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Lizella Fields; two sons, Grant Fields Jr. of Vicksburg and Warren Kent Fields of New Orleans; three daughters, Maxine White of Flora, Kim Fields of Port Gibson and Tamika Cotton of Stockbridge, Ga.; five sisters, Susie Childress of Gardena, Calif., Grace Heard of Inglewood, Calif., Annette Hatchett of Los Angeles and Millie Owens and Delores Anderson, both of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including Caroline Griffin of Bentonia.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness of Port Gibson. Burial will follow at Ogden Cemetery in Bentonia. Visitation is from 1 until 5 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home.
