Services for Dewitt Causey Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jessie Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Causey died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 74.

He was a retired auto mechanic and a member and clerk at Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt Sr. and Emma Causey; three brothers, Ernest Causey, James Causey and David Causey; and eight sisters, Mary Lee Generett, Eloise Johnson, Rosie Lee Causey, Louise Causey, Leota Causey, Martha Causey, Emma Causey and Lilly Causey.

He is survived by a daughter, Regina Brown of Vicksburg; two brothers, Tommy Causey Sr. of Hollandale and Issac Causey of Miami; four grandchildren; and other relatives.
