Lillie Mae Brock

Lillie Mae (Pigott) Brock passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. She was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Walthall County, Miss.

Mrs. Brock was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Acacia Eastern Star. She worked at Mercy Hospital in nursing services for the Sisters of Mercy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Seymour V. Brock Jr.; her parents, Alberta and Ellie Pigott; nine brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Sherry L. Jarrell (Ross) of Vicksburg; two sons, Larry J. Brock (Kathy) and David S. Brock (Terry), all of Vicksburg; one sister, Lamenda Simmons of Tylertown; six grandchildren, Lisa Reid (Eric), Jim V. Pearson Jr. (Casey), Shelly (David), Whitney Ann, Erin and Kimberly Brock; five great-grandchildren, Lillie, Brooklin, Adison, Ariel and Rachel; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at Fisher Funeral Home with the Revs. Kent Campbell and Tyler Pigott officiating. Interment will be at Knoxo Cemetery at 2 p.m. today.

Pallbearers: John Simmons, Eric Reid, David Watson, Carey Pigott, Brad Kilburn and Nathan Kilburn.

Honorary pallbearers: Jim Pearson, Lee Stockton, Earl Brewer, Melissa Breithaupt, Sister Robyn Huser, Sister Patricia Parker, Ross Jarrell, Doug Jeter, Charmaine Gatlin, Royal Ladies Sunday school class, Bill Alford and nurses at Promise Specialty Hospital.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
