PORT GIBSON — Jetarri S. Houston died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at her home in Port Gibson. She was 30.

Ms. Houston was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew and Deloris McGrew and Melvin and Melva Woods; and her great-grandparents, Percy and Bernice Houston.

She is survived by a daughter, Jayla Houston of Port Gibson; her father, David Woods of Huntsville, Ala.; her mother, Gail Houston of Port Gibson; one sister, Erica Houston of Port Gibson; one brother, Louis Owens Jr. of Port Gibson; and aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends, including Senora Wilson of Port Gibson, Elton Wilson of Vicksburg and members of the Buck, Nash, McGrew, Houston, Wilson and Wyatt families.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Johnny Wyatt officiating. Burial will be at the Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 5 today at Thompson Funeral Home and Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
