Holiday bell-ringer arrested for identity theft

A Vicksburg man who was ringing the bell at a Salvation Army collection kettle was arrested for identity theft Monday morning, Vicksburg police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.
Patrick Strong, 30, 504 Belva Drive, is suspected of using another person’s online account to purchase a Samsung 4G cell phone valued at $449.99 from AT&T, said Stewart.
Strong was arrested just after 10 a.m. outside Walmart, 2150 Iowa Blvd. He was released from the Warren County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
