Simmons, Lawrence recite vows

Erick Warren Simmons and Lurline Marie Lawrence were married at 5 p.m. Sept. 17, 2011, at The Duff Green Mansion. Brian Ivey officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late James Eugene and Lurline Hintson Lawrence of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Irma Howard and Elsie Hintson of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Mickey and Donna Simmons of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Simmons and Lurlene Walker and the late Warren Walker, all of Vicksburg.

The bride was given in marriage by Sammy Soignier. Her chosen colors were coral and teal. Music was presented by Scott Steele.

Matron of honor was Lur-linda Soignier of Raymond. Bridesmaids were Robyn Soig-nier of Raymond and Melanie Mendrop of Vicksburg.

Flower girls were Hannah Martin of Byram and Ally Kate Simmons of Southaven.

Mickey Simmons of Vicksburg served as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Simmons of Vicksburg and Bradley Downey of Greenwood.

Ushers were Kyle Simmons of Southaven and Dustin Simmons of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at the mansion.

The couple will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is employed at Crown to Heels, and the groom is employed with the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
