Two Miami men arrested in Vicksburg in March were sentenced to federal prison terms after both were convicted in September for possessing counterfeit credit cards.

Twenty-three-year-old Orlando Quintana Rojano, also known as Orlando Rojano Quintana, and 54-year-old Juan Carrasco-Sanchez, also known as Juan Carlos Sanchez, were sentenced by U.S. District Judge David Bramlette to 24 and 30 months, respectively, with each receiving three years of supervised release.

Both were arrested March 2 by Vicksburg police after a traffic stop that uncovered about 91 fake credit cards concealed in their vehicle, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Jackson. The cards were embossed with credit card account numbers that didn’t belong to the people named on the face of the cards, the release said.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Carla J. Clark and agents with the Secret Service and Vicksburg Police Department.
