Sadler, Mosteller wed Oct. 22 in Alabama

Kelly William Sadler of Vicksburg and Frances Young Mosteller of Fairhope, Ala., were married at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 22, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Chapel on Mobile Bay at Battles Wharf in Fairhope. The Rev. Patrick J. Curley, pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church in Vicksburg, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Matthew Wooley Mosteller of Mobile. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. John Horace Mosteller Sr. and the late Dr. Jack Hyman and Frances Hyman, all of Mobile.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Armstrong Sadler of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henley Sadler Jr. and the late Dr. and Mrs. George Warren Guider, all of Vicksburg.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Music for the ceremony was presented by the Silverwood Quartet and the Nu Image Gospel Choir. Soloist was Annie Jones.

Maid of honor was Callie Levy Cunningham, cousin of the bride, of Nashville, Tenn. Matron of honor was Leighton Batte Mosteller, sister-in-law of the bride, of Birmingham, Ala. Bridesmaids were Anna Bailey Clark, Catherine Merritt Courtney, Elizabeth Bodden Otts and Emily Grace Thomas, all of Mobile; Amelia Ashton O’Neal and Blakely Bowron Taylor, both of Birmingham; and Chesley Sadler Lambiotte, sister of the groom, and Leslie Rowe Sadler, sister-in-law of the groom, both of Vicksburg.

Serving as best men were the groom’s father and Patrick Guider Sadler, the groom’s twin brother, of Washington, D.C. Groomsmen were Robert Aubrey Sadler of Vicksburg and Ryan Robertson Sadler of Washington, D.C., twin brothers of the groom; Michael Patrick Mosteller of Boulder, Colo., and Clifton Charles Mosteller of Birmingham, brothers of the bride; Brian Walker Lambiotte, brother-in-law of the groom, of Vicksburg; Patrick Robert Biglane Jr. of Starkville; Byron Edward Flowers of Jackson; and Justin Michael Harreld of Canton.

Ushers were Shelton Colby Aycock and William Sheldon Scarborough, both of Madison; McCaslin Carter Dodgen and Bryan Cole Mathias, both of Oxford; Jon Koehler Bibb of Tunica; Kendol Marve Collins of Brandon; John Hunter Taylor of Hernando; Tyler Burns Turner of Benton; John Bradley Collins of Memphis; and Brett Tyler Hunt of Medina, Tenn.

Flower girls were Rhea Emily Mostellar and Ellison Anne Mosteller, twin cousins of the bride, of Mobile. Ring bearer was Walker Armstrong Lambiotte, nephew of the groom, of Vicksburg.

Lectors were Leah Riv Grodnick and Maryann Elizabeth White.

A sunset reception was held on the bay at Rose Cottage, home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Beall III in Point Clear, Ala. Guests were entertained with music by Musical Fantasy of Mobile, along with Nashville recording artist Carla Williams.

The couple departed the reception aboard a handmade mahogany boat operated by the bride’s uncles, Dr. Ross Cunningham and Dr. Charles Mosteller, and her brother, Clifton Mosteller. For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Galley Bay, Antigua.

They will make their home in Fairhope. Both are employed at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center; the bride is a licensed social worker and the groom is a registered nurse in the ICU.

Groomsmen’s lunch

On the day of the wedding, a groomsmen’s lunch was held at McSharry’s Irish Pub in Fairhope. Hostesses were the groom’s aunts: Gail Boland of Columbus, Judy Conerly of Kingsport, Tenn., KK Jacobs of Flagstaff, Ariz., DD Bond of Tupelo, Gwyn Neil of Vicksburg and Kelly Finch of Frederick, Md.

After-rehearsal party

The groom’s parents hosted an after-rehearsal party on the eve of the wedding at Eastern Shore Art Gallery in Fairhope for members of the bridal party, guests and family. Guests were entertained with music by John Cochran of Daphne, Ala.

Bridesmaids’ luncheon

A bridesmaids’ luncheon was held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Mosteller in Daphne. Hostesses were Mary Beth Bruckmann, Ellen Cunningham, Joy Grodnick, Frances Hyman, Camille Luscher, Alexa Mosteller and Betsy Otts.

Mass

A family Mass was celebrated the morning before the wedding by Monsignor Warren Wall at St. Joseph Chapel on the campus of Springhill College in Mobile.

Supper

A Southern supper was held on the lawn at the home of Jan and Ray Herndon in Fairhope. Hosts included Melissa and Brad Beard, Laura and Burton Clark, Janet and Ricky Courtney, Lulu and Steve Crawford, Pat and Danner Frazer, Cammie and Bob Israel, Rhea and Jimbo Mosteller, Betsy and Dick Otts, Greer Radcliff, Gayle and B.T. The bridal couple were honored with a costumed stock-the-bar shower at the home of Riley Hill and Blakely Taylor in Birmingham. A lakeside couples shower was held at the Lake Neoma lodge of Mr. and Mrs. John Harreld in Canton. Hosts were Shelton Aycock, John Koehler and Shannon Bib, Patrick and Melinda Biglane, Kendol and Callie Collins, Byron Flowers, Justin Harreld, Benton and Anna Catherine Hoover, Bryan and Jessica Mathias, Nic and Kelly Meeks, Daniel and Jennifer Ratliff and Will and Anna Scarborough.

Margaret Brown, Suzanne Damrich, Nancy Hollen, Mimi Urquhart and Sally Greene hosted a poolside miscellaneous shower at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Harris Brown in Mobile.
