TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Rufus Johnson died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012. He was 61.

Mr. Johnson was a 1969 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School. He served in the Army.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia Lewis; his father, Ed Harvey Lewis; and a brother, Harvey Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Johnson; a brother, Ed Lewis Jr.; a daughter, Keisha Johnson; and other relatives.

A memorial service will be Thursday at the family’s home in Tinton Falls.
