Ruby Louise Buck

GREENVILLE — Ruby Louise Buck died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was 62.
Mrs. Buck was former president and CEO of Mississippi Action for Community Education Inc. and had served as office manager for Southeastern Prison Education, Advocacy and Reformation Inc.
She is survived by Theodore “Ted” Buck of Greenville; three sons, Tondre Buck and Thandi Wade, both of Madison, and Tarence Wade of Olive Branch; one daughter, Tiffiny Payton of Norman, Okla.; three brothers, Leonard Nelson and Roger Nelson, both of Anguilla, and James Nelson of St. Louis; three sisters, Classie Davis of St. Louis, Shirley Woods of Rolling Fork and Gloria Nelson of Olive Branch; and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Agape Christian Center in Greenville with the Rev. Thomas Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville under the direction of Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
