Nick and Karen Jones of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Lee, to Nathan Wesley Rowland. Mr. Rowland is the son of Steve and Tina Rowland of Vicksburg.

Miss Jones is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Heagey of Maryville, Tenn., and Grace Jones and the late Ted Jones and Gerald Briggs Sr., all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Rowland is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Smithey of Vicksburg and Martha Rowland and the late Robert Rowland of Marshville, Mo.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of the National honor Society and played varsity softball.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in health information management from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Miss Jones is a medical records analyst at River Region Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where he was a member of the varsity cross country and track teams and Vicksburg Pride Band.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Rowland is a geospatial engineer for the U.S. Army.

Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. March 3, 2012, at the McNutt House, 815 1st East St. in Vicksburg. A reception will follow in Maggie Hall at the McNutt House. Attendance is by invitation only.
