Dozier, Grodowitz are wed Nov. 19 in Tupelo

Evan Charles Dozier and Chara Ann Grodowitz were married at 5 p.m. Nov. 19, 2011, at Harrisburg Baptist Church in Tupelo. David Langerfeld officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Grodowitz of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Martha Underhill of Nettleton.
The groom is the son of Joan Dozier Weathers of Tupelo. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Sheffield of Mooreville.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride’s chosen colors were espresso, harvest gold, burnt orange and crimson. A program of nuptial music was presented by Diane Smith, organist; Dr. Darwin Brooks, pianist; and Carla Hill, soloist.
Maid of honor was Martha Virginia Lack of Starkville. Bridesmaids were Lauren Elisabeth Browning and Stephanie Merrill Maddox, both of Jackson; Samantha Southwell Bice of Iuka; Melissa Ann Blaumuller of Ridgeland; and Kelly Patricia McGrath of Vicksburg.
Jordan Sheffield Dozier of Tupelo served as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Cooper Livingston of Clovis, N.M.; Bradley Robert Payne of Huntsville, Ala.; Austin Edward Walton of Austin, Texas; Justin Samuel Loden of Tupelo; and Christopher Bryant Ramey of Saltillo.
Ushers were Tucker Lake Colburn and William Derek Russell, both of Tupelo, and Nathan Timothy Grodowitz of Vicksburg.
Ring bearer was Connor Patrick Loden of Dallas, Texas.
A reception followed at the Tupelo Country Club. Guests were entertained with music by the Bill Cooke Band.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to the Bahamas. They will make their home in Round Rock, Texas.
The bride is a school nurse at Rainbow Station in Cedar Park, Texas. The groom is an engineer at National Instruments.
