Mary Malone died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at her home. She was 81.

Mrs. Malone was born in Attala County. She had lived in Vicksburg since 1959. She retired from Sidney House Nursing Home and Heritage House Retirement Center. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Malone; her parents, Mamie and Hansen Jenkins; brothers, Ben, Burl and Terry Jenkins; and one niece, Nancy Jenkins.

Survivors include two sons, Lessley Malone and Gerald Malone, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Donna Price and Billie Hidalgo, both of Vicksburg; eight brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home with Mike Pennock officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
