Linda Braxton Aultman died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 68 and lived most of her life in Bentonia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford L. and Gladys Cooper Braxton; and her brother, Glenis W. Braxton.

Survivors include her daughter, Beth Ballard, of Baton Rouge, La.; her son, Ben Ballard, and his wife, Karen, of Cape Coral, Fla.; a sister, Beverly Taylor, and her husband, Richard Sr., of Bentonia; a brother, Darryl Braxton, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; two grandchildren, Zach Ballard and Jessica Ballard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 21, 2012, at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Skipper Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon today until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Richard Charles Taylor, Cooper Taylor, Preston Braxton, Tyler Braxton, Tracy Braxton and Zach Ballard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Taylor Sr., Chris Landry, Lisa Mason and David Wansley.
