A Vicksburg woman accused of forging a check for more than $5,000 was free on bail today.

Felicia Meyers, 29, 1320 Hope St., was arrested at her home at 7:46 p.m. Tuesday and charged with uttering forgery, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

Meyers is accused of forging a check for $5,232.17 on July 22, 2011, Stewart said.

She was taken to the Warren County Jail where she posted $15,000 bail and was released.
