Donald Ray Winfield

Services for Donald Ray “Don Ray” Winfield will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Blackmore officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Winfield died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 51.

He was born in Natchez to the late Clark and Izora Winfield. A 1978 graduate of Vicksburg High School, he retired from Anderson-Tully Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Truly and Sarah Washington; a sister, Eva Joyce Winfield; and one grandson, Jadon K. Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Diane M. Winfield of Vicksburg; three daughters, Dawn Winfield-Dillon and Shantelle Miller, both of Vicksburg, and LaShelle Winfield of Olympia, Wash.; two sons, Clifton Miller of Vicksburg and Michael Wayne Richardson of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Gloria B.E. Lowe of Vicksburg and Brenda Barnes of Killeen, Texas; three brothers, Larry Washington and Tommy Washington, both of Vicksburg, and Ray Winfield of Mesquite, Texas; eight grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
