Against Purvis, Clyde Kendrick went 3-for-3 with a run scored and Lamar Anthony had two hits for Vicksburg. Cameron Cooksey allowed two unearned runs and struck out six in seven innings, but the game went to extras and Purvis rallied against Vicksburg’s bullpen.

Two errors and two hits, the second by Lott, ignited the winning rally in the 10th.

Against Gulfport, the Gators fell behind early and never recovered. Gulfport scored four runs in the fourth inning to blow it open.

John Plummer had two hits for Vicksburg, and Anthony had a double and an RBI.
