A Nitta Yuma man was in guarded condition this morning at University of Mississippi Medical Center after a single-car wreck early Sunday in Greenville that left a woman dead.

Henry Vick Phelps IV, 23, was taken there from Delta Regional Medical Center

Candy Page, 27, of Greenville, was pronounced dead at the scene, Greenville Police Sgt. Michael Merchant said. The wreck occurred at 2 a.m. Sunday in west Greenville.

Merchant would not release information about who owned the vehicle, a black Chevrolet Corvette, or who was driving. The wreck remains under investigation, he said.
