MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Services for Rita Rechell Davis will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Davis, a former Vicksburg resident, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at her home. She was 46.

Ms. Davis was a 1983 graduate of Vicksburg High School and North Park University School of Nursing. She was employed as a traveling nurse. She was a member of New Birth M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Brown; a brother, Anthony Prentiss; and her grandparents, Clara Mae Davis, Calvin Reed Sr. and Willie and Glory Brown.

Survivors include her mother, Fannie Davis Prentiss and stepfather, Willie James Coleman, both of Carrollton; her sister, Jacqueline Yvette Wilson of Vicksburg; a brother, Derwin Davis of Birmingham; and other relatives and friends including the Brown, Reed, Coleman-Davis and Redmond families.
