Monroe art gallery names Cabuk feature artist

The Ouachita River Art Gallery, in Monroe, has scheduled Marsha Wilson Cabuk as the featured artist in March.
Cabuk is a native of Alabama and the daughter of Isabelle Lovell, a noted Alabama watercolor artist. She is also an art instructor and a member of the Ouachita River Art Gallery. Cabuk’s art mediums include oil, acrylic and jewelry where she uses various colors of glass beads, natural gemstones, feathers, shells, leather and stones to reflect the color and beauty of her adopted state of Louisiana.
The gallery is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and is located at 308 Trenton St. Admission is free. For more information, call 318-322 2389.
