Agape Montessori
• As part of Leap Day activities, kindergartners played leapfrog and read “The Big Wide-Mouthed Frog.” They wrote subtraction number sentences and sang “Five Speckled Frogs.” They made ice cream frogs and fed them gummy bugs.
• To celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday, preschoolers made green eggs and ham and had a “Cat in the Hat” cake. Senior primary Montessori students played a jumping game with bubble wrap after reading “Hop on Pop.” Junior primary Montessori students made Dr. Seuss hats.
• Toddler Montessori students made mosaic snails after a study of the letter S. Josie Claire Coon was named Star Student of the Week.
