Erin Christine Powell and Richard Edward “Ritch” Southard will be married at 10 a.m. March 24, 2012, at Jackson Square in New Orleans. A private reception will follow at the Court of Two Sisters.

Miss Powell is the daughter of Paul Powell of Evergreen, Colo., and Rosie Powell of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phil Powell of St. Regis Falls, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Hollingsworth of Dyersburg, Tenn.

Mr. Southard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Moschella of Clinton and the late Edward Southard of Indianapolis, Ind. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Rossi of Wantagh, N.Y.; the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Southard of Valley Stream, N.Y.; and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Murray of Hicksville, N.Y.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Vicksburg High School. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi.

Miss Powell is sales and marketing manager at the Vicksburg Convention Center and Auditorium.

The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Wall High School. He owns Ritch E. Photography.
