JACKSON — Eugene Dunning Baggett, 84, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at St. Richard Catholic Church, with visitation at the church starting at 9 a.m. A service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Cemetery in Hattiesburg.

Mr. Baggett was born on Sept. 5, 1927, in Vicksburg to the late Walter and Eula Baggett.

Mr. Baggett was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Walter Baggett.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Joy Ross Baggett; his daughter, Lynn May and her husband, Neil, his daughter Martha Orcutt and her husband, Eddie; his grandsons, Jeffrey May, Patrick May, Daniel May, James Orcutt, John Michael Orcutt, Stephen Orcutt, and Robert Orcutt; six nieces; and nephews.
