Betty Moore, a member of the United Methodist Women of Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church, makes chocolate-covered candy eggs at the church at 335 Oak Ridge Road. The Easter Egg Factory has produced 46,000 eggs since it started making them in 1981 and has made 1,752 this year. The eggs are $2.50, and profits go to local missions. At right, some finished eggs sit before packaging. They come in six flavors, peanut butter, vanilla, coconut, maple nut, almond and almond coconut.
