ROLLING FORK — George Edward Williams Sr. died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at his home. He was 65.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Lee Williams of Vicksburg; six sons, George Williams, Travis Williams, both of Vicksburg, Marlo Cole of Mayersville, Ronald Cole and Tony Cole, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Jerome Cole of Rolling Fork; four daughters, Crystal Albert and Lisa Williams, both of Vicksburg, Patricia Stephens of Macon, Ga., and Karen Cole of Rolling Fork; one brother, Willie Bell of Clarkeston, Tenn.; six sisters, Freddie Cowart of Clearwater, Fla., Charlane Lindsey and Evelyn Bell, both of Rolling Fork, Shirley Dixon of Yazoo City and Flora Knight and Bobbie Parker, both of Memphis; 40 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Rising Star Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Rolling Fork with Willie James Dorsey, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Danover Cemetery in Egremont under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.
