Comedian Q performs at the Vicksburg Auditorium in The Vicksburg Love and Laughter Show Friday night. The Chocolate Series featured comedians and the musical group SILK. Erin Powell, sales and marketing manager for the Vicksburg Convention Center, said VenuWorks, which has a contract with the city to operate the convention center and auditorium, installed a new lighting system in the auditorium that connected to the building’s sound system. “The lights are synchronized so they change color with the beat of the music,” she said. “It will be an interesting effect.”
