Lillie Mae Powell

ROLLING FORK — Lillie Mae Powell died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at St. Mary Hospital in Kankakee, Ill. She was 74.

Survivors include five sons, Curtis Hall of Williams, Calif., Jerry Powell of Cary, Bobby Joe Powell and Larry Powell, both of Rolling Fork and Sammie Powell of Chicago; two daughters, Velma Warren and Shirley Powell, both of Rolling Fork; three brothers, Ellis Hall of Cary, Floyd Hall of Vallejo, Calif., and Albert Lake of Greenville; and seven sisters, Ethel Mae Bell of Kings, Willie Mae Ousley, Alean Jackson, Leaflora Hall, Rebecca Williams and Irma Williams, all of Rolling Fork and Doris Diggs of Tulsa, Okla.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Lula M.B. Church in Rolling Fork with Howard Moncrief, pastor; officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Rollling Fork.
