A Vicksburg man faces charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute after a Warren County sheriff’s deputy found less than an ounce of cocaine wrapped in small plastic bags during a traffic stop early Saturday at Indiana Avenue and Old Highway 27, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
He said Phillip Moore, 29, 1513 First North St., was being held without bond in the Warren County Jail pending an initial appearance in justice court Monday.
He said Moore was arrested about 1 a.m. after Deputy Billy Brown stopped him for a traffic violation. He said the cocaine was found in one of Moore’s socks during a search after the stop.
