Baylot, Temple are wed at Cedar Grove

Nathan Christopher Baylot and Tara Nicole Temple were married at 6 p.m. March 10, 2012, at Cedar Grove Mansion. Dr. Walter L. Frazier officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Pamela Temple of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late James and Ethel Newman of Gilbert, La., and the late Earl and Loree Temple of Winnsboro, La.

The groom is the son of Leslie Hollowell and Erwin Alex Baylot Jr., both of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith of Vicksburg and Erwin Alex Baylot Sr. of Jackson and the late Dorothy Brown Baylot.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Her chosen colors were pewter and blue. Music for the ceremony was presented by Elias Arredondo and the St. Joseph Arts Inc.

Maid of honor was Brittney Baylot of Starkville. Maiden of honor was Caroline Garretson of Rock Hill, S.C. Bridesmaids were Amber Dissoe-Lynn, Lauren Rohrer and Kirsten Tackett, all of Vicksburg; Olivia Hogue of Starkville; Chelsey Jordan of Brandon; and Meredith Werne of Madison.

Chad Owen of Vicksburg served as best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Temple, Kenny Tackett, Paul Rohrer, Jody Hollowell and Heath Daigre, all of Vicksburg; Bradley Patrick of Terry; and Chase Hogue of Starkville.

Ushers were Tanner Hollowell and Taylor Hollowell, both of Vicksburg, and Teddy Grothe of Columbia, Mo.

Flower girls were Avery and Kate Temple of Brandon. Ring bearer was Carter Temple of Brandon.

A reception followed at the Vicksburg Convention Center.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Riviera Maya, Mexico. They will make their home in Baton Rouge.

The bride is employed with the State of Louisiana, Division of Archaeology, in Baton Rouge. The groom is employed with the State of Louisiana, Department of Transportation Planning, also in Baton Rouge.
