The engagement of Krystal Carson to Fredrick Cole Jr., both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. June 2, 2012, at Rainbow Arena. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Carson is the daughter of Howard Austin and Catherine Carson, both of Vicksburg.

Mr. Cole is the son of Fredrick Cole Sr. and Patricia Cole of Meridian.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Warren Central High School. She received a degree from Alcorn State University in 2010.

Miss Carson is an eighth-grade English teacher at Vicksburg Junior High School.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Meridian High School. He received a degree from Alcorn State University in 2008.

Mr. Cole is a production supervisor at Tyson Foods Inc.
