St. Aloysius righted the ship to make it into the Class 1A playoffs and the Lady Flashes are hoping for more than a cameo appearance starting Friday.

The Lady Flashes (7-11) host University Christian in the opener of a best-of-three series at 6 p.m. and travel to Flowood Saturday at 2 p.m. for a second game and a third, if necessary.

The two teams have already met twice in early March, with the Lady Flashes taking both meetings, 15-6 and 10-7. But don’t count on St. Al to be too overconfident.
