About 300 homes in Openwood Plantation and Fairways subdvision in north Warren County were without power Sunday night after a tree fell and snapped four or five utility poles that feed the area, Sheriff Martin Pace said. Most of the utility lines in the area are underground, but the poles that were snapped carry feeder lines for the power. Entergy crews were working Sunday night and Pace said deputies would be patroling the area until power is restored.
