The engagement of LeeAnn Channell to Scott Beasley, both of Hazlehurst, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged June 9, 2012, at Phoenix East Condominiums in Orange Beach, Ala. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Channell is the daughter of Claudette Doiron and Billy Ray Channell, both of Vicksburg, and Phillip Doiron of Weaver, Ala. She is the granddaughter of the late Douglas and Claudine Lee and Sina Channell and the late Lawrence Channell, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Beasley is the son of Linda Beasley of Hazlehurst and the late Skip Beasley. He is the grandson of the late Doris Maxey of McComb, the late H.L Maxey of Lake Livingston, Texas, and the late E.A. and Marie Beasley of Hazlehurst.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Warren Central High School. She is employed with Children’s Medical Group.

The prospective groom is a 1990 graduate of Pearl High School and a 1995 graduate of Belhaven College. He is employed with UPS.
