Charles Prince

Charles Prince of Hunter Heights, La., died Friday, April 27, 2012 at River Region Medical Center. He was 72.
He was born in Blackhawk and moved to Vicksburg as a young boy. Prince was a detective with Vicksburg Police Department and then worked as an automobile salesman and F&I administrator for Atwood Chevrolet.
He was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and was a member of the Corvette Club and a past member of the Civitans.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Chapel with burial following in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at GGlenwood Funeral Home.
Prince is survived by his wife, Carolyn Prince of Hunter Heights; a son, the Rev. Britt Prince, Richland; four daughters, Linda Jones, Canton, Ga., Cindy Kaskie, Hunter Heights, Tracy Tedeton, Vicksburg , Lesley Prince, Madison; two brothers, Jimmy Wright, Vicksburg and Wallace Prince, Pearl; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calista and Linden Britt Prince, a brother, Leroy Prince and sisters, Linda Prince and Barbara Krause.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Kaskie, Travis Prince, Zachary Boyanton, Dillon Prince, Marshall Prince, Ken Sharp Jr. and Jason Hodges.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Abraham and Michael Davis.
