Warren Central’s quest for a team state championship ended Friday with a 6-1 loss to Madison Central.

The No. 1 boys doubles team of Jalen Dagher and Parin Bhitka defeated Madison’s Connor Wilson and Davis Holaday 6-2, 6-2 for WC’s only victory of the day.

Although WC was eliminated from the team competition, six of its players have qualified for the individual tournament May 7 in Jackson.
