Services for Ella Mae Mitchell Cook will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Walker D. Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Covenant Health and Rehab in Vicksburg. She was 84.

A homemaker, Mrs. Cook was born May 7, 1927, in Wildesville, La. She was a member of St. Peter M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Cook Sr.; her parents, St. Clair and Roener Mitchell; a son, Johnny Cook Jr.; two brothers, Julius D. Mitchell and Samuel Mitchell; and a sister, Annie Hawthorne.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Walker D. Wright of Olive Branch and Willie D. Cook of Vicksburg; two daughters, Helen Wright and Betty Mace, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, William Mitchell of Tallulah and Abron Mitchell of New Jersey; 12 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
