ROLLING FORK — Clem “Son” Cooper died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. He was 73.
Mr. Cooper retired after 25 years from John Deere Corp. in Rolling Fork.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Cooper of Rolling Fork; six sons, Clem Brown and Henry Brown, both of Milwaukee, Wis., Danny Brown of Atlanta, Rickey Brown of Jackson, Terry Brown of Rolling Fork and Charlie Brown of Gulfport; six daughters, Barbara Brown, Maggie Bell, Arabell Brown and Jackie Brown, all of Rolling Fork, Gladys Brown of Crystal Springs and Shirley Brown of Jackson; two brothers, Leon Cooper of Rolling Fork and Jessie Cooper of Vicksburg; 31 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Lula M.B. Church with Pastor Eugene Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Cynthia Diana Cemetery in Anguilla. Visitation will be from 4 until 5 p.m. Friday at Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
