The flag donation Thursday is in memory of Russell’s late wife, Laverne Russell, who also will be remembered Wednesday when members of the Clear Creek Ladies Golf Association host up to 80 golfers in the fourth annual Laverne Russell Memorial Invitational Golf Tournament at the Bovina course.
