PORT GIBSON — Michael P. Morris died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Patient’s Choice Hospital in Port Gibson. He was 60.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his father, Louis A. Morris Sr., and brother, Donald Morris Sr.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Adrianne Arnold of Port Gibson; his mother, Louise T. Jackson of Jefferson, La.; brother, Louis A. Morris of Baton Rouge; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Christian Chapel Church, with the Rev. Ray Coleman officiating, assisted by the Rev. Rufus Edwards. Burial will be at Carbondale Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
