Services for Allen Beamon will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Casey Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the chapel, with the family hour from 6 to 7 p.m.

Mr. Beamon died Monday, April 30, 2012, at his home. He was 56.

He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and attended Vicksburg Public Schools. He was a member of the House of Peace Worship Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hattie B. Beamon; and his maternal grandparents, George and Martha Beamon,

He is survived by his wife, Vicky Beamon of Vicksburg; a son Jeremy Beamon-Lee of Vicksburg; two daughters, Jasmine Beamon Lee and Mary Lou Craig, both of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends including the Anderson, Beamon, Franklin, Tolliver, Hebron, Parker, Williams, Luster, Cessna and Battle families.
