Bovina residents Janice and Gary Butler pick up a head of cabbage from Jonah Boyd, 10, son of Coleman and Robin Boyd, at the Boyd’s Family Produce tent, during the first day of the Vicksburg Farmers’ Market, Saturday. Jonah’s father Coleman said his children, four boys and two girls, help grow all the produce the family sells. The Vicksburg Farmers’ Market, Jackson and Washington Streets, is open 8 to 11 a.m. Saturdays and 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays.
