L. Preston Fuller Jr.

L. Preston Fuller Jr. died Friday, May 4, 2012, at his home. He was 58.

Mr. Fuller was born and lived most of his life in Vicksburg. Preston had worked in the construction business for over 40 years. He had been employed with JDE Construction of Monroe until the time of his illness. He liked to spend his spare time on a Harley, hunting, working with wood and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rhea Fuller Sr., Preston Whittington and Marie B. Raines.

Survivors include his parents, Leonard P. Sr. and JoAnn Fuller, both of Vicksburg; a brother, Rhea Fuller IV and his wife, Liz, of Vicksburg; two honorary brothers, John Whittington and Timothy Whittington, both of Lawton, Okla.; two sisters, Frances Lee and her husband, Leonard, and Juliette Fuller and Jerry Haynes, all of Vicksburg; honorary sister, Clarissa Swaggart of Natchez; nieces Stephanie Leist, Ashley Sevier, Stephanie Hanson, Brittany Fuller, Tiffany Fuller and Mandy Fuller; nephews Corey Schneider and Ryan Lee; honorary nephew, J.J. Russum; numerous great-nieces; and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Glenwood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
