ROLLING FORK — Margaret Jean Buckner and her daughter, Paris Persha Buckner, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Percy as the result of an automobile accident. Margaret Buckner was 50, and her daughter was 23.

Mrs. Buckner is survived by two sons, Cletrice Armstrong and Darrel Armstrong, both of Portland, Ore.; her mother, Katie Lee Rowland; a brother, Barney Armstrong; a sister, Debra Phoenix of Fitler; and one granddaughter, Riniyah Talaejah Markaelah Williams of Rolling Fork, who is Paris Buckner’s daughter.

In addition to her daughter, Paris Buckner is survived by her father, Walter Buckner of McKinney, Texas; and two sisters, Summer Buckner of McKinney and Tinisha Washington of Addison, Texas.

Services for mother and daughter will be at 2:15 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion M.B. Church in Cary with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Cary Community Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.
