Three men are on the lam after a weekend kidnapping and robbery at Waffle House on Warrenton Road.

Two women from Monroe, La., were kidnapped after a man pulled a gun on them at 12:45 a.m. Sunday outside the restaurant and forced them into a blue and silver Dodge Magnum, police Lt. Sandra Williams said. The women had gone to the restaurant to meet two men with whom they had exchanged phone numbers at Ameristar Casino, Williams said. Those men are also believed to be involved in the kidnapping and robbery, Williams said.

The women were released uninjured on Rifle Range Road after their cell phones were stolen, Williams said.

The women’s purses were also stolen from their car at Waffle House, Williams said.

A credit card from one of the purses has been used in Jackson, Williams said.
