Food Pantry gets 200 pounds of squash after rain shuts down Farmers’ Market

Storehouse Community Food Pantry volunteer Maryann Artz, left, helps Vicksburg resident Lorraine Kent fill a bag with fresh squash Monday morning at the food pantry. Vendors from the Vicksburg Farmers’ Market donated squash, cucumbers and lettuce to the pantry after the market was rained out on Saturday. Limited quantities are available today to residents that qualify.
