A broken-down car was missing this morning.

At 4:38 p.m. Tuesday, a 1990 Buick Electra, with Mississippi tag WBY090, was reported missing at North Washington Street and Haining Road, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

The owner of the car discovered it was missing when he returned to pick it up after it broke down about 7 p.m. Monday, Stewart said.
