City woman jailed on shoplifting charges

A Vicksburg woman accused of shoplifting was in jail this morning.

Linda Robinson, 30, 823 Meadow St., was arrested and charged with felony shoplifting at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart, 2150 Iowa Blvd., police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

Robinson is accused of leaving the store without paying for $159.92 in personal items and clothing, Stewart said. Robinson has two previous convictions for shoplifting, Stewart said.

She was held this morning in Issaquena County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
